after install the package, select language, choose other language and the language no change

Can you share more information about the environment you are using? Perhaps there are some major dependencies hidden and not installed right now. Right away the same as for widelands you have mentioned.
Problem found: Reasoning is to search within missing dependencies for intltool and gettext-tiny. The concurrent package does not contain any translation-file for now.
