FS#1566 - [Hyperbola GNU/Linux-libre 0.4] [opensurge] has refused to launch the game.
Also known as “[opensurge] has refused to launch the game after failing to initialize [allegro] audio add-on” in the long title because of character limitation.
This issue affects the game popped me up with an error message; it never works and is unplayable.

Could you please provide more information about your configuration so the error can be reproduced? With the concurrent information it is not possible to do for now. Thanks!
I didn't attach a log file on my user's cache folder; this is what I got it below here. I don't know why [opensurge] seems broken, or maybe [allegro] either.
Just again the question: What do you use as audio-setting? Is it ALSA? Is it sndio?
Please remember: sndio is not final tested and in the work. I'm using ALSA and Opensurge is working. So if you have alsa-sndio installed for example: Please remove it for the time being as it is not working for now.
You can have sndio installed with no further problems - same for me with 0.4-Alpha developing. But not the package alsa-sndio.
Okay, got the error: It seems allegro was not correct compiled on the build-server. Looking after that!
Fixed now with: https://git.hyperbola.info:50100/~team/packages/extra.git/commit/?h=throgh&id=6f11f52033f15ff63cc18234e7e282a05d747440
