Mutt is unstable. While in Mutt, the message ‘mailbox closed’ emerges.

dmesg was showing errors about this
Apparently it is not needed and can be deleted. (No errors on my side after deletion (and reboot) and no more errors message)

Error detected in ntfs-3g.

gparted_polkit doesn’t work, error message (polkit is installed on my system)

Error executing command as another user: No authentication agent found.

If using :

sudo gparted

or

gksu gparted

It works. By default with xfce, the gparted launcher uses gparted_polkit though.

Remove /etc/crypttab file from the “filesystem”, due it’s useful only with systemd

I wondered if anyone else has experienced this, I cannot use sound on one of my games which has no drm on it. It’s not exactly, free as in freedom, (the game I want to play) but it has no drm. I could get it working on trisquel, debian, devuan, fedora... but not hyperbola for some reason.

The other problem though is that I know there are some errors with the packaging, because wine-staging and wine both say 2.7 version. Which absolutely cannot be right because wine stable hasn’t even released ver 2.1! yet... xD

Anyways though, This would be nice if you could fix it. sound won’t initalize and the versions are wrong at the moment...

Possibly the problem is the removal of runscript.
runscript conflicted in [minicom] with [openrc], detailed in https://issues.hyperbola.info/index.php?do=details&task_id=122 and was removed in openrc https://git.hyperbola.info:50100/packages/core.git/tree/openrc/PKGBUILD#n137

Gufw doesn’t stay on like it usually does when you leave the GUI.

FirewallD doesn’t turn on automatically, and won’t turn on period.

Gufw will not allow me to add any rules.

FirewallD is non-functional in general

Users trying to use firejail against mpv experience errors such as:

[ytdl_hook] AVideo failed, trying to play URL directly ...
[ffmpeg] tls: The TLS connection was non-properly terminated.
Failed to recognize file format.

The error is caused by not having avideo whitelisted in firejail.

/etc/init.d/dhcpd failed to run and use chroot by default

The MATE Session Handler lacks elogind support to handle session options from MATE since it is adapted for systemd only. There is a patch of elogind support for gnome-session [0] that could be adapted to mate-session-manager.

gvfs uses some features from systemd-logind that can be provided by elogind. There is an implementation made from Gentoo [0] to add libelogind support.

On a fresh install, the system wide locale is not working with lightdm.
According to https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/LightDM#Wrong_locale_displayed

One needs to set the LANG variable in /etc/environment to have lightdm in desired language.

Example :

LANG=pt_PT.utf8

Could it be possible to implement a mechanism to automatically add the LANG variable set in /etc/locale.conf to /etc/environement when one install lightdm ?

It is not technically a bug but it could be handy to new users.
