Since the update to 0.3.9 (or the update of girara to 0.2.9), zathura-pdf-poppler returns the following error:

error: Could not load plugin '/usr/lib/zathura/ps.so' (libgirara-gtk3.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory).

Description:

• Segmentation fault after start by terminal emulator but elinks does not crash in console. After that, it prints characters when mouse buttons pressed so it can not copy its output.

I converted a gif file to webp using gif2webp. The file plays back using vwebp but stops playing back after a few seconds when run in Iceweasel-UXP.

Description:

Apache web server shall be running with or without the external network, and without NetworkManager.

rc-service httpd start

will give the message that NetworkManager must be started first, and will not start apache web server. I cannot find in which file is that written.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Disconnect network. Start computer.

2. Try to start apache with above command.

That makes no sense, as Apache can run on local network without NetworkManager and it is not written in the description.

Description:

• Fix package name to emacs-headless that is the correct name for packages without graphical user interface support. nox suffix is incorrect because Hyperbola supports Wayland too, not only X.Org.

The error is intentional when hypervideo fail to download DRM videos, so the specific part that says “please report this issue on https://issues.hyperbola.info/“ should be removed in the next version.

I probably should’ve mentioned this before, but if it is set to suspend when lid is closed, it should automatically lock. if the security option: lock screen with system is set to sleep is tweaked on it doesn’t lock always.

This is word for word what I wrote in the forums, but yeah... it is a problem say if someone wants to use your laptop without your permission and can do so.

But it is also a problem if you set it to lock instead because it is more prone to overheating when your not using it, and it doesn’t suspend quickly enough.

I have tried this many times and the same story can be told, again and again.

I think this issue should be considered high or critical merely because of the privacy risk if someone gets their hands on your laptop while its on. Even if you have been away... :/

I wonder if anyone else has this issue... well you guys will tell me I am sure. if critical doesn’t match what you think I am sure you will change it. ;)

With kodi 17.1-2.hyperbola1 “The Movie Database” scraper doesn’t work. The error message is :

"Unable to connect to remote server"

Old clients (like the one packages by Hyperbola) no longer work due to changes in Electrum:

The fix is to use a newer version.

Here is the terminal output:

I think a newer python version (e.g. 3.7) might be needed in order to get it to work as well as even after installing missing modules via pip locally the package does not run.

When trying to download a video I get a token error.

As the default path of the ServerBin directory is now /usr/libexec/bin:
1. cups-files.conf should be modified/adapted accordingly.
2. The contents of /usr/lib/cups which is currently owned by cups-filters, cups-pdf foomatic-db-engine and smbclient should be moved to /usr/libexec/cups.

As it is, cups doesn’t work in v0.3.

With latest 0.3 hyperbola, with the (simple) following partitioning :

/ (ext4)
/swap

The standard HOOK in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf

"HOOKS="base udev autodetect modconf block filesystems keyboard fsck"

fails to include crc32c_generic module, resulting in non bootable system.

The generated fallback initramfs include it though.

The issue was not present with 0.2.9, with the exact same partitioning.

[virt-manager] Failed to initialize a valid firewall backend

I cannot start any virtual machine with current virt-manager.
The error message is the following :

Failed to initialize a valid firewall backend

My username is in “kvm” group.

The only modification to the libvirt config files I made are in /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf

Also, the optional dependencies are correctly installed :

ebtables: required for default NAT networking [installed]
dnsmasq: required for default NAT/DHCP for guests [installed]

This was working fine previously (with 0.2.9) so I don’t know why this isn’t working anymore. As said previously, my config hasn’t changed.

This seems to have been fixed, see :

I don’t know if a patch is available for it though..
