With iceweasel-uxp, some info boxes are not translated, for now I noticed that when the mouse cursor hovers “add tab” element, the info box showing up is still using english (although I’m using French and the rest is ok), this is very, very minor issue I know.. :o)

Sometimes I ran Iceweasel-UXP with installed language packs (i18n), but the different bookmarks appeared from Firefox by default.

This is another addon I would like support indefinitely for Iceweasel-UXP:

It blocks etag tracking and other nasty forms of tracking.

But again, you would need to make the changes based on the newer versions only for legacy and without WebExt required of course.

I opened up (and customised) the menu box, but edit and zoom control button icons are gone missing, except in toolbars.

Also, what about developer button (wrench icon)?

I tried using Iceweasel-UXP pre-release, but I’m unable to set any different font, size and encoding, and search any words/characters within page.

Description:

-Tabs don’t have X on the right to close it.
-Download window has an issue on font.

Note: the font is smaller on Tab description and overal it is nice

This is my only other package needed besides ublock origin/enigmail. :)

It behaves like a clean installation, does not import the configurations and data from a existing installation of icedove.

The wizard import does not work too. It returns the message:

No application to import data from found.

A workaround

cp --recursive --verbose ~/.icedove/ ~/.mozilla/thunderbird/

What I miss very much is “mail merge”. For example, I had to send 102 personalized emails to my students, as the term is beginning. The only way to do that was to revert to the previous non-uxp icedove.

But but immediately after that, I reinstalled icedove-uxp, of course!

Another very useful addon is cardbook (or any equivalent) as it allows to work with remote calendars and contacts.

Actually, I don’t like to work with remote calendars or contacts. But some of my colleagues do. The only condition I set is to work with trustworthy providers using free software exclusively. But they do exist.

When trying to download a video I get a token error.
