Unfortunately, the workaround does not work for me. However, it indicate the arch linux package that fixes this issue.

When running QtEmu for the first time and running the new machine wizard, the software lists non-free operating systems and refers to GNU/Linux as Linux.

It would be nice to list LibertyBSD in the list of distros in this software in addition to GNU/Linux and GNU/Hurd (which are listed in aqemu).

Upon installation of recoll, I can see:

Steps to reproduce: Flatpak gives access to interesting features for the deployment of applications, but in fact it also gives access to proprietary applications like Skype (https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.skype.Client), Steam (https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.valvesoftware.Steam) and many more. So it should be checked if this should be part of the repositories within an open, libre distribution. In my point of view this violates the freedom of users, because there can be not tolerance about intolerance even regarding this.

The audioplayer clementine uses interfaces for non-free services like Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Subsonic and VK.com regarding storage and accessing files. So of course the software is licensed under the GPL, therefore Copyleft and free, libre software in the first place, but is also using anti-features with those interfaces to mentioned unfree services later on.

So the proposal would be: Creating a fork with removing those interfaces or otherwise removal of the whole package.

I’m writing here about the package Conky. It is the useful widget of system monitor into your desktop, but there are some serious issues:

Description: As Gnome has decided against following libre, free principles the desktop-environment has becoming a risk for the privacy and freedom for users. Meaning that the desktop-environment with all basic packages should be removed. Of course the final decision is up to the community and the development-team. Followed up are more reasons for the insights:

* Bloated with questionable dependencies (including mandatory systemd)
* Using proprietary services as high risk for freedom and privacy for users (https://i.stack.imgur.com/yZcyV.png)
* Coming up with questionable and vague principles, against software-freedom in a whole (inclusion of flatpak and flathub as so-called standardization for distributions, discussions about proprietary software included within the software-center)

Steps to reproduce:

$ cat /usr/bin/xdg-open | grep 'chromium'

BROWSER=x-www-browser:firefox:iceweasel:seamonkey:mozilla:epiphany:konqueror:chromium:google-chrome:$BROWSER

When trying to start a new campaign the complete game-engine is crashing with the following message:

Object::disconnect: Unexpected null parameter
QCoreApplication::postEvent: Unexpected null receiver

As ghc and fpc should be removed in the near future it would be good to validate this or otherwise remove the game-package itself also.
