Since DNSCrypt-Proxy project has been abandoned [0] , DNSCrypt-Proxy 2 [1] should be used as its source replacement, however DNSCrypt-Proxy 2 contains support for unsafe and dangerous for privacy protocols such as Google. [2] [3] [4] Also, it contains Google recommendation and support through its parental control servers and public resolvers lists [5] [6]

Therefore DNSCrypt-Proxy 2 requires be re-forked by us first to follow our social contract.

In the latest version fixes several issues and font improvements[1], but unfortunately there is a major problem contained five three non-libre/free typefaces in the source code.

• Apple II (1977): a licence forbids to sell and modify. Already removed
• Commodore PET (1977): a licence forbids to sell and modify. Already removed
• Atari 400/800 (1979): in the latest version, there is a vague term “freeware”[2] in documentation, but forbids to sell and modify.
• Commercial 64 (1982): a licence forbids to sell. Already removed
• Monaco (modern): proprietary from Apple.

A Syriac typeface family series of Beth Mardutho’s Meltho is considered as non-libre/free because a licence forbids to modify[1], and should be removed immediately.

Contains many other (old and dead) non-FSDG distro and software archive and repo FTP sites, and must remove carefully.

In version 0.9.3 and 1.0, there are several added and changed (new or existing) features and functions, and fixed bug, crash and other issues.

About that distro, Elementary OS is semi-libre/free, Ubuntu based, long term support, but does not comply with the GNU Free System Distributibution Guidelines (FSDG). To either rebrand or remove existing non-FSDG compliant distro icon files.

I’m writing here about the package Conky. It is the useful widget of system monitor into your desktop, but there are some serious issues:

Config variables

• distribution outputs the string “Arch Linux” instead of “Hyperbola GNU/Linux-libre”.
• eve requires users to use API for non-libre/free video game EVE Online, and should be removed.
• All Beep Media Player (BMPx) related variables (including bmpx_album, bmpx_artist, bmpx_bitrate, bmpx_title, bmpx_track and bmpx_uri) are obselete and useless, and should be removed because the package BMPx isn’t present on Arch and Hyperbola official repositories but Arch User Repository (AUR).
• [For Milky Way version 0.4.x only] All PulseAudio related variables (including if_pa_sink_muted, pa_sink_volume, pa_sink_volumebar, pa_sink_description, pa_card_name and pa_card_active_profile) are no longer used, and should be removed due replaced the default audio server with sndio.

Manual

• Contains non-FDSG compliant distros.
• Contains vague terminology.
• Requires users to use API for non-libre/free weather network service(s) (including The Weather Channel).

osdbattery is (probably) useless and broken so Conky did compete because It is still unmaintained and unsupported over 14 years ago (last released version 1.4 on August 23, 2005), and should be removed per anti-abandonware rule at the packaging guidelines.

Also, the default config file contains non-libre/free Microsoft font Verdana as X11 font format property in font variable.

The list contains some icons before being removed for displaying non-libre and trademark-related stuffs, which may infringe the GNU Free System Distribution Guidelines and Hyperbola Packaging Guidelines.

I tried using Iceweasel-UXP pre-release, but I’m unable to set any different font, size and encoding, and search any words/characters within page.

Sometimes I ran Iceweasel-UXP with installed language packs (i18n), but the different bookmarks appeared from Firefox by default.

While the X session is still running, did anyone happen key bindings being unresponsive? A few lines of errors appeared from xkbcomp because of a missing keyboard symbol on the single TTY. It reads:

Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server

After setting up and testing our 32-bit QEMU instance, we often tried to initialize the X11, but it refused to do because of video driver issues.

As well as changing to other video drivers on our instance is still the exact issue.

Here is a log from X11 below we attached.

Here are few changes in the third package build release of Midori, according to the commit[1][2]:

• A SearX instance[3] now replaces three default search engines that are non-free network services; because of freedom issues, they were all expunged.
• Fix key buttons on the key bindings to avoid frustration.
• Plug-in seems now disabled by default.

This issue affects on Lumina desktop environment on the current operating system in the testing stage of Milky Way 0.4 on QEMU.

Here’s what happened, I just tried clicking the screen saver on the preferences on the desktop menu–it happens nothing, and then I just tried searching xscreensaver-settings as an executable file on the terminal–unfortunately, it’s nothing there.

Can anyone fix and rebuild it properly?

Tried browsing videos in other YouTube client(s) such as mps-youtube. Minor problems, like/dislike ratio and category aren’t displaying of video metadata.

I opened up (and customised) the menu box, but edit and zoom control button icons are gone missing, except in toolbars.

Also, what about developer button (wrench icon)?
